Literacy Criticism

Literacy Criticism is a way to analyze and make comments to all the texts that we read. We can say that Literacy Criticism is a review, a discussion, or an evaluation that everybody can do at the authors of the texts. Literacy Criticism get from poetries, novels, etc, contents that can be criticized or can be acclaimed. One of my favourite writes was often subjected to Literacy Criticism. His name is Luigi Pirandello (1867-1936) prize Nobel for the Licterature in the 1934. His most important opera (Il fu Mattia Pascal) received many critics due to the many negative facts tha the writer narrated. In the novel, The late Mattia Pascal (Il fu Mattia Pascal), the author (Pirandello 228) describes his anxiety and rage during his entire permanence in the north of Italy. This part of the book, and many other parts, were and are subjected to critics by readers and others writers.

New Journalism

Very interesting writing style, New Journalism is a new way of how writers can use different point of view.
In the New Journalism, the writers Tom Wolfe show that writing a book or a novel on first person it could appear more interesting, and could get more attention by the writers. We saw in Wolfe's book that New journalism can be a mix. Sometimes it can be interpretated as a fiction, other times it can be interpreted as a reality.
"I don'y know when Kesey gets out i don't know if i can come aroud the Warehouse. Why not? Well, like the coops are going to be coming around like all feisty, and i'm on probation, so i don't know" (Wolfe 1).

Huxley

In the book "The Doors of Perception" we can see all the fantasy and creativity that Huxley had.
He talks about the Mesculine as a change for people to increase their way to think, and to increase their creativity. In fatc in the book "The Door of Perception", we can see the experiment that he made. He shows the effects that mescaline has. He said that people under drug effect especially mescaline (it is an hallucinogen) could have a deeper vision of the life. In fact he explained that under Lsd (it is an hallucinogen) effect, many people could connect better their spiritual life with themselves.

ABSTRACT

Did you know that if you have a cheap friend, spending money in front of him could make him sick??
In the last six months Professor Salvo from the Santa Rosalia University took 20 people that would not spend money for any reason eccept for the most important things as bills, food, and metrocard. Those cheap people were put together with spenders people in a Mall where they could find and buy everything. The spenders bought everything they wanted, also things that were not essential. At the end of the day the Professor noticed that the cheaper people were depressed and angry.
The next day Professor brought only cheapers people in the Mall. At the end of the day those people were very happy and excited becasue they didn't spend any money except food and essential things for the house.
The experiment was made always on the 20 people for 15 times a month. The results were all the same, cheaper people were angry and depressed every time that they saw people spending much money for not essential things.
At the end of the research Professor Salvo declared that cheaper people can have a traumatic effect if they see people wasting money in front of them.

Introduction

In the read Elements of Rhetoric by Richard Whately we saw the many kind of introduction that we can use for start an Essay.
Introduction is the most important part of an essay (because it summarize the argument of a paper). It is also the most difficult part of a paper (because a person can have few ideas about the topic, but doesn't know how to start it).
The introduction summarize the main points that we will illustrate in the paper. Is important that the introduction is divided in parts, every part have to explain clearly the point that we going to illustrate, that means that if in the introduction we illustrate point 1,2, and 3, in the paper they must have the same chronological order.
Introduction is as a map for the readers, through it, readers understand what are the point of the papers, consequently more interesting are the points of the introduction more possible is that readers will not be bored.

cubism

Cubism is not a new term for me. During my architecture class in Italy i had the opportunity to study Cubism and the most important artist of it as Picasso and Braque.
Cubism is an artistic movement that born in France around the 1906. The definition Cubism born after the observation made by Henri Matisse on the Georges Braque paint called L'Estaque during the 1908. Matisse described the paint full of small cubes that later gave the name of Cubism. In the Cubism the subject is broken, but at the same time joined in an abstarct shape, furthermore the artist try to paint the subject watching it from different point of view.
Although many critics in the past didn't understand how important was this architecture, Cubism had an important influence in the 20 century architecture.
